As if I don't have enough to do just working on my house. This week I had an explosion in my yard. An explosion of crab grass.

A Historic Street
Back when I was looking to buy a new house, one of my friends took me over to a little neighborhood in South Minneapolis north of Lake Street. I didn't have a clue that this little, historic, pedestrian neighborhood even existed. I loved the street. A few days ago I ran across this You Tube video put together by some local students.

Continued
Keeping myself busy. I spent some time cleaning off the window that I stripped yesterday. Then I started to putty the glass. Because this window is on first floor, I had to put it back in place until the putty cures. Then I will prime and paint.
Please excuse the putty muck still on the glass.
This was a good project for me to work on this weekend. I'll probably just continue down that bank of three casements.

One More Down. Almost.
My day in pictures...
Sorry for the somewhat out of focus photos. It was hot and I was crabby and in no mood to deal with my finicky camera. Tonight I'll putty the glass. I usually remove all of the old putty, remove the glass, re-bed the glass and then reputty. But I'm worried about breaking the wavy glass in these. They are also stained instead of painted on the other side, so I don't have to strip that side. For the record, this was not the best project to work on in humid 90 degree weather.
