Kathy - here you go...Red Velvet Shortbread Cookies
Two changes: If dough it overly crumbly (even for shortbread), add about a teaspoon more of butter. The next time we make these, we are going to use powdered sugar (not sure of quantity yet).
Are you going to be able to save them all for V-day? I wouldn't.. :)
Those look nummy!!! I'd much prefer the smell of fresh baked cookies over the smell of polyurethane too! lol
Laeh - I did give some of them away...and there was a cookie lunch yesterday :) I can pretty much guarantee they won't last til the holiday.
Northland - Yea, poly doesn't have the best aroma. Chocolate is definitely better.
