I snagged this off of Ebay last night. It's a vintage Tappan Owner's Guide. It covers the 1950's Series 60 line of Tappan gas stoves. I think my stove is a 1950 model 63. From what I can tell, the guide includes descriptions of the stove's innards, maintenance info., as well as tasty recipes.

Amazing. I'm bowing down to my computer right now.
Many new appliances and computers don't come with manuals anymore. Whirlpool (microwave) & HP (computer) suggest the internet for any instructions or information. Personally I prefer a manual.
Great find. We had an old 1950s stove, but had to junk it when it started leaking gas. Good luck with yours.
Greg - Lol. You have a stove older than this up and running in your house, no?
Kathy - It just blows me away how little material comes with stuff now-a-days. I guess they either expect us to send it to them for repairs or trash it. As I wokr on this stove, I'm surprised at how logical the parts fit together.
Allison - Sorry to hear about your stove.
I really enjoy your blog & as a result bought myself a 1947 Tappan Deluxe. BUT I can't find this model's manual either on e-bay or elsewhere.
Would you consider selling copies of yours? Thanks!
Joe M - Give me a few weeks on the manual and I'll see what I can work out.
I just purchased a Tappan Deluxe range circa 1950, Model # PHV 64-15. Loving used and cared for, it is in great shape. Any chance of purchasing a copy of your manual?
Fraggle - Those manuals come up very frequently on ebay for around $10. Keep an eye out. If you can't find one, email me over at my Tappan Talk blog (link on the left top of this page) and I'll see what I can find.
