After yesterday's Big Dig, my lawn (or what's left of it) is looking bleak.
So, this afternoon I performed the lawn equivalant of a comb-over. I raked some remaining leaves out from under my front everygreen and artfully scattered them over the bare dirt.
Now I have the hope of an old, bald man looking in the mirror. You can't tell the grass is even gone. Can you? ;-)

Too funny. As a homeowner with a continually-bleak lawn, I can appreciate the "comb-over." After the leaves started to fall from the trees onto our patchy lawn, we noticed how much better it looked!
I love it. If I could just find a way to make dandelions look like a lucious lawn, I'd be in business. That was a huge hole- and to not have to worry about your sewer line is priceless.
LOL! As soon as I read the title I knew what you were up to.
That's hysterical. But just like a toupee...gotta be careful or it will fly away.
